The 100 Club was established in Houston, Texas in 1953. The organization began when 100 men, each contributing $100, wanted to help the families of Houston Police Officers who were killed in the line of duty. I hosted the morning portion of our 100 Club Fundraiser on Local 2, Tuesday morning. I knew that the 100 Club was an organization that raised funds for families of police officers killed in the line of duty. BUT – here’s what I didn’t know:
